Dr. Jakki Bailey (she/her/hers) is an assistant professor at the University of Texas at Austin in the School of Information. She is the founder and director of the Immersive Human Development Lab (check us out on Instagram @immersivehuman). Dr. Bailey specializes in immersive and interactive technology across different ages, as it relates to cognition, behavior, and learning. Her research currently examines the implications of immersive virtual reality (VR) on children’s cognitive skills and social responses as well as youth’s use of conversational agents.
